David Hazony is the Director and Steinhardt Senior Fellow at the Z3 Institute for Jewish Priorities. His 2024 anthology Young Zionist Voices: A New Generation Speaks Out offers 31 essays from young activists, rabbis, scholars and Jewish professionals. His previous anthology, Jewish Priorities: Sixty-Five Proposals for the Future of Our People (2023) brings together writers from across the Jewish world to offer visions of the Jewish future. His book The Ten Commandments: How Our Most Ancient Moral Text Can Renew Modern Life (Scribner, 2010) was a finalist for the National Jewish Book Award. He previously edited two journals of Jewish and Israeli interest, as well as several volumes of Zionist and Jewish thought. He has a Ph.D. in Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew University and lives in Jerusalem.
