We invite the whole community to learn how to respond to antisemitic and anti-Israel activity, your legal rights, and the statistics behind the extreme increase in antisemitic attacks around the United States. We will hear from special guest speaker, Yael Lerman, founding director of the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department.
This is a collaboration between Congregation B’nai Emunah, Jewish Federation of Tulsa, and Temple Israel.
Yael Lerman is the Founding Director of the StandWithUs Saidoff Legal Department, providing free legal resources to anyone confronting antisemitic and anti-Israel activity. Yael coordinates a team of four staff attorneys and over 280 pro bono attorneys. She is a graduate of Columbia University, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, and as a Truman finalist. She attended NYU Law School, where she served as Senior Articles Editor of the NYU Journal of International Law and Politics. Before joining StandWithUs, Yael worked at a law firm in New York and in ADL’s national legal division. She lives in Los Angeles with her family.
