Join us for a community event commemorating the one-year mark of the October 7th massacre. We are honored to host Sagi Gabay, a 28-year-old survivor of the Nova Festival, from the organization Faces of October 7th.

The mission of Faces of October 7th is to combat antisemitism by building bridges of understanding. In a world where mass media often distorts perspectives on distant lands, this organization advocates for direct engagement, countering misinformation, supporting victims, and fostering resilience.

For security reasons, RSVP is required and photo IDs will be checked upon arrival. Please no large bag or backpacks. All bags subject to search.

Limited seats available. Please register now to reserve your seat!

Sagi is from Rishon LeTsiyon, born to Moroccan Israeli parents. He has a B.A. in political science and communications and a M.A. in diplomacy and strategic marketing. In the IDF he was a news editor and sound technician for the army station of one of the leading news companies in Israel. At university, he was the spokesperson of the student union and was responsible for bringing the Birthright program to his school for the first time. During university, he participated in a leadership and public diplomacy fellowship through StandWithUs. For the past three years, he has been working in the Knesset.

Sagi will share his terrifying story of narrowly surviving the massacre. We will leave with the responsibility of bearing witness and sharing his story with others. Following the story, we will stand together against antisemitism and in solidarity with the survivors and their stories in a post-program ceremony to commemorate the lives lost and those who continue to fight for all hostages to be brought home.
