Eva K. Unterman Conference for Holocaust Educators “The World Must Know”

You are cordially invited to attend the 2022 Eva K. Unterman Conference for Holocaust Educators.  This year’s conference will be held on Thursday – Friday, July 28-29 from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Barbara and Dave Sylvan Auditorium at the Jewish Federation of Tulsa 2021 E. 71^st St. 

Holocaust Educators of all knowledge levels are invited and encouraged to attend.  The new legislation recently passed in both the Oklahoma House and Senate enhancing the teaching of Holocaust Education in all Oklahoma schools will give students the chance to learn about the Holocaust not only in their Social Studies classes, but also in their English/Language Arts and Visual Arts classes.  We are excited about the prospect of facilitating the instruction teachers will need to provide this life-changing opportunity to their students.

Holocaust educators who attend both conference sessions will receive 14 hours of Professional Development credit in addition to their choice of one book:  Through Eva’s Eyes by Phoebe Eloise Unterman OR The World Must Know by Michael Berenbaum OR Tell them we Remember by Susan D. Bachrach

Admission is FREE!!! with a light breakfast and lunch both days.  Bring a jacket as the auditorium can be chilly.
