Second Annual Interfaith Passover Event Planned at OU

On April 5, 2017, OU Hillel and OU AEPi will be hosting their second annual Interfaith Passover Philanthropy event. Rabbi Vered Harris from Oklahoma City will teach the community about the Jewish holiday, Passover, while raising money for the Heroes to Heroes and Gift of Life Foundations. We will be exploring Passover themes like Redemption and Freedom through interactive discussions while enjoying a traditional Passover meal.

Last year we began the initiative to create a philanthropic event that also brings the interfaith community together. We believe that inviting many different religions, faiths, and cultures to learn with each other and about each other is extremely important, especially today. We hope that you can help us make this a wonderful event for the community while raising money for some great causes.

The Heroes to Heroes Foundation serves all combat veterans, regardless of conflict. They welcome all who are having challenges with PTSD, Moral Injury, or are having challenges returning to civilian life after their time serving our country.
\Gift of Life is a foundation that believes every person battling blood cancer deserves a second chance at life. They are singularly passionate about engaging the public to help get everyone involved in curing blood cancer, whether as a donor, a volunteer, or a financial supporter. It all begins with one remarkable person, one life changing swab, and one huge win – finding a match and a cure.
