Founded in 1913, ADL’s timeless mission is “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.” The Dallas office of ADL (ADL Texoma) was established in 1965 to support the northern half of Texas and the entire state of Oklahoma. ADL Texoma fights hate by fielding and responding to antisemitic and discriminatory incidents, advocating for policy change at the state and local levels, and provides education programs for K-12 schools and workplaces. We build community through meaningful partnerships with law enforcement agencies and strong ties with community partners and campus officials. ADL believes no one should be targeted or treated unfairly because of their religion, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or disability. Anyone who experiences or witnesses an incident of bias, hatred, or bigotry is encouraged to report the incident through our website.

Chabad-Lubavitch is a major movement within mainstream Jewish tradition with its roots in the Chassidic movement of the 18th century. In Czarist and Communist Russia, the leaders of Chabad led the struggle for the survival of Torah Judaism, often facing imprisonment and relentless persecution for their activities. After the Holocaust, under the direction of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson and his successor, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, Chabad became a worldwide movement, caring for the spiritual and material needs of all Jews, wherever they could be found. Today, over 3,500 Chabad institutions are located in more than 100 countries, with a new center opening on average every ten days. In South Africa, South America, Russia, Australia, Asia, the UK, and many parts of the USA, Chabad has become the most dynamic and dominant force within the Jewish community.

In 2022, the Oklahoma Legislature passed Senate Bill 1671, making Holocaust education available to all Oklahoma school students in grades 6-12. In response, the SB1671 Oklahoma Holocaust Legislation Coalition was founded. This body is composed of state legislators (all former teachers), consultants from the Oklahoma Department of Education, and volunteers who share the responsibility to carry out the mission and terms of SB1671. The mission is to “Fight Hate, Respect Diversity, Protect Democracy, and Teach these lessons to future generations through study of the Holocaust.” This is addressed by hosting in-person FREE Holocaust Educator conferences throughout Oklahoma, offering in-class presentations, creating a Retired Holocaust Educators’ Initiative, and a Teacher Appreciation Incentive Program, which includes an all-expenses paid trip for selected Holocaust Educators to Washington DC to visit the US Holocaust Memorial Museum, the National Museum of African American History and Culture, and the National Museum of the American Indian.

Tulsa Tomorrow
www.TulsaTomorrow.com
Tulsa Tomorrow helps Jewish young adults, families, and professionals get an honest look at what life in Tulsa is really like. A big part of that experience is seeing the city up close, whether it’s neighborhoods, culture, and the places locals genuinely love. We host candidates through solo, personalized visits and cohort-style group trips. Some people prefer a one-on-one experience where we tailor the visit around their interests. Others enjoy traveling with a small group of others, exploring Tulsa together, and sharing the experience as a cohort. Both approaches offer something unique, and both are designed to give an authentic view of the city.
The mission of Tulsa Tomorrow is to help revitalize and strengthen Tulsa’s Jewish community.
