Helping Tulsa’s Children Develop the Lifelong Skill of Reading

The Jewish Federation of Tulsa is hosting a book drive for ReadingPartnersTulsa! From October 8 to November 16. we will be collecting books that will go to K-3rd grade students in Tulsa elementary schools, helping build their at-home libraries. Stop by today and help us reach our goal of 75 books! Books must be in like-new condition, and must be age-appropriate for K-3rd graders.

  • Where: CSJCC, 2021 East 71st, Tulsa OK 74136
  • When: October 8-November 16
  • What kind of books: Children’s books must be in like-new condition. Books with one to three sentences per page, appropriate for K-3rd graders are best. Please see the accompanying wish list for books that Reading Partners is currently collecting.
  • Why: Help students in Tulsa build their own at-home libraries and help the Jewish Federation of Tulsa reach our goal of donating 75 books!

Reading Partners distributes free age-and-skill-appropriate books to students to start their own home libraries. Over 1,600 students have a chance to take home a book every week, so we are always in need of more books!
