Rebekah Geiselman is the current Education and Community Enrichment Director with the Tulsa Symphony Orchestra. Most recently she served at the Education and Community Engagement Manager with the Virginia Symphony Orchestra where she designed and implemented their first Sensory-Friendly concert series and oversaw the transition to virtual learning for all programs during the COVID pandemic. Previous positions include Orchestra Manager with the Aspen Conducting Academy at the Aspen Music Festival and School; working in the programming department at the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust where she worked on the Children’s Theater and Bridge Theater Series, Children’s Theater Festival, and Pittsburgh International Festival of Firsts; and the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra in the Learning & Community Engagement department where she assisted with the onsite schooltime concerts, children’s concert series, and outreach community engagement performances.
Before transitioning to nonprofit work, Rebekah worked as an Associate Artist Manager with UIA Talent, a full-service boutique management company in Manhattan representing a range of talent including opera singers, conductors, directors, and film, television, and theater actors. Rebekah received her Master of Arts Management from Carnegie Mellon University’s Heinz College, and Bachelor of Music in Flute Performance and Music Business from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam.
