Ben Gurion Society Brunch with Sarah Sassoon
Sunday, June 7 at 11 am
Private Residence
Join us for an intimate brunch for members and prospective members of the Ben Gurion Society, featuring Sarah Sassoon, a dynamic educator and thought leader exploring resilience, identity, purpose, and community in today’s world. Drawing from her Iraqi Jewish family history, her family’s displacement from Baghdad to Israel, and her experience raising children in Israel during this war, Sarah will lead a thoughtful and personal conversation about what holds people together during difficult times and what we inherit beyond trauma: traditions, humor, responsibility, joy, and belonging.
Together, we’ll explore questions around family, community, shared purpose, and why ancient traditions and personal histories continue to matter so deeply in a fast-moving world shaped by AI, noise, and uncertainty.
The Ben Gurion Society recognizes young leaders and philanthropists who make an annual commitment of $1,000 or more to the Jewish Federation. This brunch is an opportunity to connect with peers, engage with meaningful ideas, and be inspired to help shape a vibrant Jewish future right here in Tulsa.
